The first stadium I (Tim) had the opportunity to watch a minor league game in, and from '89 to '91 it was my home stadium. The years weren't good to 'ol Lackawanna County Stadium though, and with newer and nicer stadiums popping up coast to coast they finally decided to do what was best for this old behemoth - tear her down and rebuild. While the sentimental part of me was sad to see the old park go, what it has been replaced by is an absolute gem and well worth the drive.
