musings
When I was a kid, this was the first (and only until I was 18) ballpark that I saw a minor league baseball game. In both '84 and '86, I attended games with my first set of traveling companions, my aunt and grandmother. I think going with them has as much hold on me as Tinker Field itself does. From what I remember of it, classic old park with that HUGE football stadium looming overhead. Somewhere, I have pictures from both then and 2009 when I made a return trip to Tinker - hopefully they will turn up someday and I can add them to this page.
